Indicative inspection range

Your building and scope

Adjust the fields below to see the estimated total and effective per-door range. No contact details are required to use the calculator.

What changes the price?

Door count is only the starting point

A provider may also state minimum attendance, travel, induction or reporting charges. Always compare written scopes as well as headline totals.

Door count

Each door requires inspection, identification, evidence and reporting time.

Survey depth

A routine operational check differs from a detailed survey or evidence review.

Access

Flat appointments, keys, escorts, secure areas and repeat visits can add time.

Records

Creating schedules, labelling assets and resolving missing evidence affects scope.

Frequently asked questions

About your fire-door estimate

Is this a fixed quotation?

No. It is an indicative planning range. We must confirm the number and types of doors, required inspection depth, access arrangements and reporting output before issuing a quotation.

Does the estimate include repairs or replacement doors?

No. Repairs, replacement, certification, intrusive work and reinspection after remedial work must be separately scoped.

Why does access to flats affect the price?

Occupied flat entrance doors can require appointments, resident communication, keys, escorts and repeat visits. Those arrangements may take longer than inspecting readily accessible common-area doors.

Is VAT included?

No. VAT, travel, parking, access equipment and any minimum visit charge are not included in the online estimate unless confirmed in a written quotation.
